Flame-retardant solution
Phosphorus-nitrogen flame-retardant system for PP meltblown trials.

These values are a selection reference, not a final specification. A tailored TDS and trial recommendation can be provided after application review.
This phosphorus-nitrogen flame-retardant system is formulated for PP meltblown trials where the finished web must meet a flammability requirement — for example, certain filtration, protective apparel, or industrial media applications. The typical dosage range of 1.5–3% is a screening starting point; the effective level depends on the target standard, the base resin, and the finished-web construction.
Flame-retardant performance is a finished-article result, not a masterbatch property. The applicable test standard, specimen conditioning, and end-use configuration all shape the outcome, so the target standard should be named before dosage is finalized. As with any functional additive in meltblown, carrier compatibility and flow behavior (MFI above 200 g/10 min) matter because the additive must pass through the same demanding die and filtration path as the base resin without destabilizing spinning.
Buyers should also consider what the flame-retardant system may change besides flammability: processing behavior, web hand feel, and compatibility with downstream steps such as charging or lamination deserve a place in the trial plan. Trial results on the buyer's own line, tested to the named standard, remain the deciding evidence.
When requesting a recommendation, share the base resin, target flammability standard, end-use application, and line configuration.
Do not combine with filler; color systems require a preliminary trial.
Share the process, resin, target performance and estimated volume. Our application team will prepare the next product and trial recommendation.
