Black color solution
High-flow, high-dispersion black masterbatch with adjustable blackness.

These values are a selection reference, not a final specification. A tailored TDS and trial recommendation can be provided after application review.
This high-flow, high-dispersion black masterbatch is formulated for PP meltblown lines where color must be achieved without disturbing a demanding process. Meltblown runs a tight flow and filtration path, so a colorant that performs well in injection molding or extrusion can still cause screen-pressure drift or spinning instability on a meltblown line. Carrier compatibility and an MFI above 200 g/10 min are therefore part of the color decision, not an afterthought.
Dispersion quality affects both appearance and process stability: poorly dispersed pigment shows as streaks or specks and can contribute to pressure fluctuations. The typical dosage range of 8–12% is a starting window — the final level is set by the target blackness, the base resin, and line behavior during trials. Our buyer guide on meltblown color covers why shade matching alone is not enough for approval.
Color approval should happen on the actual production line, not only on a plaque or lab sample. A chip that matches in the lab can behave differently once it meets meltblown shear, temperature, and filtration conditions. When requesting a recommendation, share the base resin and MFI, the target shade or reference sample, and the line configuration so the carrier system and dosage starting point can be matched to the process.
Confirm filter-pressure rise; reference limit is below 1.0 MPa.
Share the process, resin, target performance and estimated volume. Our application team will prepare the next product and trial recommendation.
